Bargemone is a classic dry Rosé for which Provence is justly famous. The wine is a very pale salmon-pink color with intense aromas of wild strawberries. Flavors of bracing minerality and slightly tart strawberry flavors with a hint of currant, better & slightly drier than the ’ 08; the smooth texture belies the ample underlying acids that make this a perfect food wine. This wine is wonderful to drink on its own with good summer friends and makes a great accompaniment to lighter summer fare. 33% Syrah, 23% Grenache, 23% Cinsault, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Provençal Rosé is the quintessential food wine: perfect with Roast Chicken with Herbes de Provence, ideal for just about any summer fare, particularly Grilled Shrimp or Scallops & Seared Salmon – has enough stuffing to hold up to burgers & pizza.
