Though Trimbach faithfully produces some of our favorite wines from Alsace, Trimbach’s current Riesling is an absolute knock-out. Not enough people know that Riesling can be full-bodied and damnably dry—the traditional Alsatian style. Pale yellow color anointed with green highlights promises purity and freshness. This dashing white delivers. Scents of wet stones, apple orchard, and mineral stream from the glass. DRY, steely start unfolds flavors like crisp, green apple, crunchy white peach, and, a cut of citrus. Very delineated. This zesty, white wine zips with energy and food synergy.
