 |
| Founded in 1981, Roederer Estate is located in Mendocino County's cool, fog-bound Anderson Valley. As the California annex of the famed French Champagne Louis Roederer, Roederer Estate builds upon a centuries-old tradition of fine winemaking. Roederer Estate's sparkling wines are produced using only Estate-grown grapes from the winery's own vineyards. Carrying on the tradition of Champagne Louis Roederer in France, special oak-aged reserve wines are added to each blend. As we enter a second holiday season on a tight budget, this sparkler delivers excellence @ a great price. | |
This is a stunning sparkler that delivers far more than one expects @ this price level. One’s senses are almost immediately assailed by deliciously delectable aromas of baked apple & bread dough. A bracing minerality balances the rich flavors of vanilla, pear & a hint of caramel. Don’t waste any time looking any further – you simply will not find a better sparkling wine for less than $25.00

| For idyllic Alsace’s esteemed Trimbach family now verging on their 13th generation. We’re glad they’ve stuck around. Though Trimbach faithfully produces some of our favorite wines from Alsace, Trimbach’s current Riesling is an absolute knock-out. Not enough people know that Riesling can be full-bodied and damnably dry—the traditional Alsatian style. Enjoy this and the visions of villages clustered with colorful half-timbered houses will come and transport you to Alsace for the holidays. | |
Pale yellow color anointed with green highlights promises purity and freshness. This dashing white delivers. Scents of wet stones, apple orchard, and mineral stream from the glass. DRY, steely start unfolds flavors like crisp, green apple, crunchy white peach, and, a cut of citrus. Very delineated. This zesty, white wine zips with energy and food synergy.
Food Pairing: shellfish, shrimp, fish in general, Asian style dishes, charcroute, European-style ham, savory fowl, pork.

| The Tempranillo grape is the preeminent red wine grape of Spain. Tempranillo ripens well ahead of its frequent blending partner Grenache, thus the name (Temprano in Spanish means early). It’s most famous growing regions are Rioja and Ribera del Duero, but fine examples can be found from Toro to Navarra. In the day, Kosher meant sickly sweet, mostly mediocre wines (think Man, oh Manishewitz), but that is no longer the case as more & more kosher wines are available that are often quite good. The world of kosher wine is broad & varied from Champagne and fine Bordeaux to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon as well as this beautiful Spanish Tempranillo. | |
This wonderful Tempranillo does not sacrifice flavor to be kosher. The nose is reminiscent of a somewhat tart cherry pie. The wine is dry with plenty of plum & ripe cherry fruit with a hint of earth & tobacco. Celebrate the holidays with a moist brisket & this dry, full-bodied wine.
Food Pairing: Beef Brisket (#3 selling meat in Israel)

ROEDERER BRUT PREMIER NV SENSATIONAL CHAMPAGNE: PRICELESS…or better, LESS PRICE
|
|
|
 |
| Roederer Champagne’s history dates back to 1776 and they remain independent as a family-owned wine concern. Roederer embraces the fuller style, using 60% of the black grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) and even matures small portions of wine in barrel. Roederer Brut Premier represents one of the tastiest non-vintage Champagne available, now available at a scandalously low price. This is one brut you want at your table with great frequency. | |
Pale gold hue seemingly reflects the forthcoming richness. A variety of aromas unwind like macadamia, apple turnover, and macaroon. Generously expressive and expansive on the palate, suggesting flavors of apples, nuts, and biscuit. This ample Champagne so marvelously crests and refreshes back palate, leaving a sensuous trail of flavor. This Champagne is very lively with a very fine, persistent bead.
EXCELLENT
Food Pairing: appetizers, brunch, sushi, Asian-style food, shrimp, shellfish, tuna fish, lobster.
